Bombay Fables is a boutique production house founded by National Award- winning writer Bhavesh Mandalia, a former software engineer, and Sejal Shah, a former journalist. The company is dedicated to quality storytelling and has quickly established itself as a hub for creators who bring great stories to life with passion, integrity, and style. Currently, Bombay Fables is producing series for leading international platforms and films featuring remarkable and exciting talent.
Its maiden production ‘Serious Men’ with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, a Netflix Original, went on to win the Filmfare ‘Best Film’ Award. Nawazuddin Siddiqui received the award for ‘Best Actor’ and an Emmy nomination for ‘Best Performance by an Actor’. Since then, Bombay Fables has delivered multiple acclaimed projects which include Decoupled, Delhi Crime: Season 2, Asur 2, Saare Jahan Se Accha – collectively earning 24 award wins and over 50 nominations across credible award shows.

Sejal Shah is a former-journalist and has worked with The Week magazine and The Sunday Times in London. She is a recipient of the British Chevening Award for Outstanding Young Indian Journalist and the Award of Excellence. She has directed a feature film titled Costao, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, which has garnered widespread acclaim. Sejal has also helmed several documentaries that have won multiple international awards. She is currently developing two new feature films as director – one a gripping thriller and the other an action-packed drama.
BHAVESH MANDALIA

Bhavesh Mandalia is the writer of the universally acclaimed film, ‘Oh My God’, for which he won the National Award for Best Screenplay. He has also written Serious Men for Netflix, which starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Angrezi Medium starring Irrfan Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Being a multi-lingual writer, Bhavesh has written television shows, plays, films and series during the course of his expansive career. His Gujarati Blockbuster, ‘Bey Yaar’ went on to become a cult film in the Gujarati film circuit. Most recently, Bhavesh has written Delhi Crime Season 2 for Netflix, Costao starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui for Zee 5 and was the showrunner & writer for Netflix’s marquee series ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’.

Prapti has spent over 17 years in the entertainment field and has been involved in every aspect of filmmaking and has led teams and taken decisions that marry the creative with production. Some of the key film projects that she had been involved in include Dabaang, Dabaang 2, Partner, Main Aur Mrs. Khanna, Jai Ho ,Freaky Ali and Radhe . She has also handled the entire Operations of live /televised Shows and events across the world. With Bombay Fables, she is currently handling ‘Asur 2’ for Voot and ‘For Your Eyes Only’ for Netflix.
